Down With Our Democracy!

I've been catching up with some news lately and there's one thing that just won't seem to go away.

As you can tell from my sources on this page, I don't pay attention to MSM (main stream media).  I go to what they call 'alternative news' for information.  Most of those on this page I've visited for years, trust the information from lots of verification and simply observing the things they write about.

But one thing still seems to amaze me.  There are many, many more sources out there that are just as good as these, but some of them still cause me ticks when I read an article or watch a video from a completely credible source, who states a perfectly sound and reasonable case or position, and then somewhere in the middle, or at the end, they refer to America as a democracy.

Now I'm just as patriotic as the next guy.  I care as deeply about my country as the next guy.  But a democracy?  Really?  After everything we've seen and the direction we're headed, some of these people still don't understand the significance of referring to America as a democracy.

These are people who've done their homework, understand our history and that of the worlds previous civilizations.  Some of them have been at it for much longer than I have. They teach at colleges, have positions of influence, shape debates, instill fear in the establishment, yet they STILL call America a democracy.

Many of these folks have been extremely instrumental in getting the liberty movement as far as it's come over the last decade or so. They understand the importance of vocabulary, and the process through which propaganda and misinformation are instilled in a national dialog. Yet they STILL call America a DEMOCRACY!!!!

In high school they mentioned something about our founders fighting for a republic. But that was the only time that word was used.  Never made much sense to me, but at that time I didn't really care too much.  I paid enough attention to pass the classes and not much more. Never felt they were teaching much more than how to follow the rules. So other than discussing the founding of our nation, the word republic dropped from our vocabulary.  Democracy was the word used to describe us.

I had to come to understanding the difference on my own.  And when I did, I understood why they didn't harp on that particular word.  They didn't do it because if they had, those in charge of the curriculum would not have been pulling their weight in the effort to hide the truth from these generations that they were sending out into the world to perpetuate the grand scheme.

Had the public education system still taught the meaning of a republic, we would've seen in fairly short order that a democracy was definitely something we DID NOT want to live in.  Did I leave school with a healthy respect for the founding fathers?  Absolutely.  But I believed we had a nation FOR the people. The 'of'' and 'by' part wasn't too emphasized to us. I had to learn that on my own.

So now that I have, it amazes me to still see people who are carrying the torch for liberty, lighting the way for millions of Americans who are waking up every day, being instrumental, in my belief, in causing the 'two steps forward, one step back' syndrome in the awakening, by referring to America as a democracy.

Case in point:  ND had a vote just 2 days ago on a peace of grass roots legislation, written by the state attorneys, to repeal the States property taxes.  It was well thought out, presented well, and voted down by 76% of the people.  So with aaaaaaalllll the progress the liberty movement has made of late, 76% of North Dakota still believes we're a democracy.

So I say "Down with our Democracy"!  Maybe if I say it enough, people will ask what I mean by that. Then they will get a chance to understand, whether they take it or not, why we are a REPUBLIC in origin, and need to get back to that place.

You know the saying, "tell a lie often enough and it becomes the truth".  They told us we were a democracy and we believed it.  While we were believing it, they were actually turning us into one.

Well the process needs a reversal.

So the next time you hear someone refer to America as a democracy, please take a second and correct their thinking.   We're all in this together and we all need to be facing the same direction so we might as well get used to it.

Say it with me one time..."Down with our democracy"!

And in the immortal words of Jim Carry..."put some STANK on it"!

Cheers
